Bank statement analysis API for lenders

Monthly income, recurring payments, balances and authenticity signals from the statements applicants send.

Underwriting from the PDF in the file

Open Banking covers the applicants who will connect an account. The rest send PDFs: self-employed borrowers, remortgage files, tenants, and small businesses banking where no aggregator reaches. Someone keys those statements into a spreadsheet today, or a model reads them with nothing checking its arithmetic.

One call returns what an underwriter reads first. Credits and debits for each month of each account. Every recurring payment with its amount and cadence, so rent, loan repayments and subscriptions are listed before anyone scrolls. Categories that keep transfers between the applicant's own accounts apart from income. Balances that are checked against the rows, and signals on whether the file itself was edited.

What an application comes back with

Figures you can put in front of a credit policy, each one traceable to a row.

Monthly totals

Credits and debits per calendar month for every account, in that account's currency.

Recurring payments

Payee, amount, cadence and last date for every payment that repeats.

Categories and payees

Income, transfers, rent, card repayments and spending told apart on every row.

Reconciled balances

Opening and closing balances checked against the rows, with any gap listed.

Authenticity signals

Editing software, late modification and duplicate files, with a risk level.

Applicant upload links

A hosted page the applicant uploads to, and a webhook when they finish.

One application, one call per statement

Tag each document with your application id and read it back on the webhook.
