By using StatementBear (statementbear.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
StatementBear is an AI-powered bank statement analyzer. You upload bank statement PDFs, and we provide spending analysis, category breakdowns, spending scores, and financial insights. The service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only.
3. Accounts
You may use StatementBear once without an account (demo mode). To access full features, you must register with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email for authentication. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
StatementBear Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges. You can cancel at any time from your settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: - Upload files that are not bank statements - Upload statements belonging to someone else without their consent - Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service - Use the service for any illegal purpose - Interfere with the operation of the service
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of your bank statements and data. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process your data to provide the service. You can delete your data at any time from your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. AI-Generated Content
Spending analyses, scores, insights, and feedback are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated analysis. Always consult a qualified financial adviser for financial decisions.
8. Limitation of Liability
StatementBear is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to inaccurate analysis, data loss, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim.
9. Intellectual Property
The StatementBear name, logo, and website content are our property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
