PDF files only, up to 10MB. Your file is processed securely and never stored.

  2. Find Statements in the account settings.
  3. Choose the date range and export the PDF.

How Monzo statements are read

Pot transfers are your own money

Moving money into or out of a Pot shows up as a transaction on the statement. Those rows are marked as transfers, so topping up a Pot is not spending and taking money out of one is not income.

Amounts carry their own sign

Monzo prints money out with a minus sign and money in without one. Each row comes out as a positive amount with an explicit direction, which is what a spreadsheet formula or an import expects.

Parse Monzo statements in your own app

Send the PDF to the StatementBear API and get JSON back: every transaction with its direction and category, the account it belongs to, and a check that the totals reconcile. No bank login, no template per bank. The first 25 documents are free, then $0.49 each.
