How TD statements are read
The date comes after the amounts
The transaction table runs Description, Withdrawals, Deposits, Date, Balance, and the balance is printed on only some rows. The converter reads the column each amount sits in, so every row comes out with its own date and the right sign.
Card payments and refunds carry a minus sign
Each row on a TD credit card statement has a transaction date and a posting date, and payments and refunds, such as PAYMENT - THANK YOU, are printed as negative amounts. A payment comes out as a card repayment and a refund reduces spending, so neither is counted as income.
Parse TD statements in your own app
Send the PDF to the StatementBear API and get JSON back: every transaction with its direction and category, the account it belongs to, and a check that the totals reconcile. No bank login, no template per bank. The first 25 documents are free, then $0.49 each.
Statements from other banks
Your bank is not listed? Upload it anyway: the converter reads any bank, in any currency. All banks
