How Ally statements are read
Every account on one statement
One monthly statement covers all your Ally Bank accounts, with a summary and an activity table for each. Each is read as its own account, so a transfer from savings to checking is not counted as spending in one place and income in the other.
Interest is its own row
Each account's activity includes the interest it earned that month as a row of its own, CDs included. The converter keeps interest as money coming in from outside, so it counts as income in the spending report, while transfers between your Ally accounts do not.
Parse Ally statements in your own app
Send the PDF to the StatementBear API and get JSON back: every transaction with its direction and category, the account it belongs to, and a check that the totals reconcile. No bank login, no template per bank. The first 25 documents are free, then $0.49 each.
Statements from other banks
Your bank is not listed? Upload it anyway: the converter reads any bank, in any currency. All banks
